Some things we hear in a day are just a bridge too far.  It's bad enough Boston police crushed the wheelchairs of homeless people in the compactor of a garbage truck.  Then I see this about the 'brilliant entrepreneurs' and their 'innovative experiments' and their musings about the future and a Planet B. . . . . . These geniuses did this:

'A Crashed Israeli Lunar Lander Spilled Tardigrades on the Moon' by Daniel Oberhaus, 8-5-19, Wired.com

"As the founder of the Arch Mission Foundation, a nonprofit whose goal is to create “a backup of planet Earth,” Spivack had a lot at stake in the Beresheet mission. The spacecraft was carrying the foundation’s first lunar library, a DVD-sized archive containing 30 million pages of information, human DNA samples, and thousands of tardigrades, those microscopic “water bears” that can survive pretty much any environment—including space."

The thought of those creatures–have you seen them?–proliferating on the Moon is beyond sickening.  You could say I'm just here to complain, but who thinks up this stuff?  Just because someone thinks it up, does it have to be done?

    Enough, already!

      Hello, Cesar Malaga,

My family lived in northern Peru in Colan for 2 years from July, 2006 and lived in Piura for 6 months until January, 2009.  The Sechura desert is one of the driest in the world even as we lived on the Pacific coast.  The sky there had been the bluest, the night sky the clearest, I had ever seen, even bluer than in Alaska where we lived before and since.  Toward the end of our time living in Colan there had been so much rain 'the desert bloomed' and the river in Piura, usually a shallow stream, overflowed its banks.

After the free trade agreement with the US came into effect January, 2009, a HAARP facility was built south of Lima.  We hardly saw any clouds in Colan and certainly never any like these over Eglasia San Lucas de Colan (1535).  It's an abomination.

Be sure to ask about the extreme flooding of March, 2017, which severely devastated the whole country.  The thought of it being engineered made me angry.

Cesar, You have my best wishes for a wonderful trip in spite of the changes (she says enviously).

Scientists propose dumping 7,400 gigatons of 'artificial snow' on Antarctica
A radical, costly geoengineering experiment suggests a new way to stop Antarctica's ice sheets from melting away.
    By Jackson Ryan  / July 17, 2019

What can we do to stop Antarctica's ice sheets from disintegrating and causing a huge rise in global sea levels? A trio of scientists have simulated a radical geoengineering project to dump 7.4 trillion tons of snow on Antarctica, suggesting it could stop runaway instability in the glaciers.  …
The new study, published in the journal Science Advances on July 17, proposes a drastic, decades-long geoengineering project that would pump huge amounts of ocean water to the ice sheet, adding 7,400 gigatons (7.4 trillion tons) of "artificial snowfall" and reversing the decline. Simulating the current effects on Antarctica's ice sheets and the changes they experience with increasing snowfall, the researchers were able to map out a process that could potentially halt the ice loss.
The problem? Their suggestion would be an incredibly expensive undertaking and include immense technical challenges. The authors say it would present an "unprecedented effort for humankind."
Mostly, the problem lies in pumping the water out of the ocean, which requires an enormous amount of energy. The study suggests constructing a series of 12,000 wind turbines to enable this process to take place and then pumping artificial snow into two glaciers on the West Antarctic coast. The team suggest that activity would result in a 2 to 5 centimeter drop in sea level but the added weight of artificial snow falling on the surface would shore up the glaciers, improving their stability.
And the larger effects of such a scheme are yet to be ironed out. …

Well, as if the poisonous  "precipitation" that fell last night and is falling now from the sky isn't enough, we are being subjected to fake "seismic" activity here in Alaska as reported below:

The quake was centered nearly 22 miles deep about 15 miles north of Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, according to the Alaska Earthquake Center.

A magnitude 4.2 earthquake centered near Big Lake around 10 a.m. Monday was the largest aftershock of November’s 7.1-magnitude quake since May.

People in Anchorage felt the shaking. The center hadn’t received any reports from Mat-Su within the first 30 minutes of the quake, despite the epicenter’s location near Big Lake, seismologist Natalia Ruppert said.

The quake was the largest aftershock of November’s event since May, Ruppert said, but the center is still logging about a dozen small aftershocks every day. People don’t feel those.

There could still be aftershocks for another two years or so, she said. The felt aftershocks are less frequent than they were in the weeks after the main quake.

“But it’s still not over,” Ruppert said.

    https://www.adn.com/alaska-news/science/2019/08/05/magnitude-42-quake-near-big-lake-rattles-anchorage/

Even though I live about 20 miles from the epicenter of this Big Lake earthquake, we did not feel anything here.  Very strange. It was not a natural earthquake — of that I'm sure. And to think they keep calling every tremor occurring an "after shock" of the November 30th 7.0 EQ is ludicrous!

Gail, from Alberta, I so can relate to your anger and angst regarding the geoengineered criminal assault upon all life — especially when we see the tragic effects upon our once beautiful and vibrant natural environment in these northern parts.

Late last night I took my bush-whacking clippers to a large 16 foot Siberian Pea growing close to my house that had been sprayed from above with some bizarre white sticky flecks of crap that totally creeped me out. I am wrapping every last inch of this poisoned plant in a giant tarp and hauling it off to the dump.  I won't even take a chance on burning it here on my property. God only knows what the chemical makeup of the awful goo coating is.  I'll have to do some more bush whacking today around my place to get rid of the rest of the toxic aerosol ruined trees and shrubs that look so disturbing and disgusting from the unnatural damage.  Yesterday and the day before were very hot here – in the 80s. Today it's cooler due to the spraying.  The leaves on our once beautiful birch trees are already turning totally brown.  So sad and maddening to see.  Praying for us all and our precious earth.

My 281st email, titled 'Climate Chaos within 15 months. Extinction between 2023 – 2026?

When will they lob 200 nukes down volcano cones to initiate the 2 year nuclear volcanic winter to refreeze the Arctic (and Antarctic)? This has nothing to do with a nuclear war, although that could be used as a distraction.

The ongoing intensive, toxic (and therefore extremely profitable for those companies whose business model relies on disease and ill health) geoengineering and atmospheric spraying has delayed the nuclear option by over 6 years. However, because it is a covert operation, the general public has carried on with 'business as usual' and nothing has been achieved to prevent climate catastrophe and our extinction.

The Arctic heat wave during the last 7 days has caused an ice melt rate that government models project for 2050.

Greenland has just had the highest one-day melt on record – but sea level rise is the least of our concerns….

Malcolm Light has updated his 'Planetary Genocide/Ecocide' chart to show extinction between 2023 and 2026'. On this chart 2m sea level rise is not predicted until 2027…7m rise by 2028.

We are fast approaching our "Take us not to the time of trial" (correct Lord's Prayer translation from Greek).

You will notice that I have shortened my timescale to 15 months. I suspect I am being too cautious/optimistic.

While driving on Hwy #748 North yesterday, I saw the most disturbing, alarming, & frightening sight I think Ive ever seen before my eyes. Every Tree for what seemed to go on for miles & miles wide, had NO Leaves on them!  A week ago I drove this very stretch of road with my Son, & it was totally green & the Trees were in full leaf.   What the hell happened to these thousands of Trees.  A wide swath of Trees have been wiped of every leaf. The leaves are gone. And no leaves anywhere!!! You would think there would be mounds of leaves. The bark looks orange on some.  I picked up the same Son & drove back to show him. He was just as alarmed as I was. You couldn't wrap your brain around what you were seeing, although right there in front of us. A million questions went through my head. Our heads. I brought my camera to take pictures & while I stood along the highway, people were slowing down to see what I was taking pictures of! Dah! They were looking for a Bear or a Moose I guess, they seemed disappointed. What makes people so blind I often wonder.          I stand there horrified, while others pass through along the same stretch of highway & saw nothing but trees. Dead or alive. Just Trees!                    I wanted to Cry. I wanted to Scream.    It is so nice when the one you share these events with, see, & feel what you do. I am calling the County Office Tuesday. (Long Weekend) I want to meet a member along that strip & I want answers. Every Tree around this area affected, is green. Its like a dead zone inside a green well forested area. You hear about these things happening, you see photos others have taken, but when you witness it first hand, well its upsetting to say the least. It had to have come from above. Are those in this area now sick. I wonder how the Cattle, Horses, Wildlife, & Birds are feeling. There are several Farms inside this new dead zone. I want answers, & these Farmers should too. I am tired of this Madness. I am tired of being Poisoned. I am tired of a Black Sky every single day.  I DID NOT CONSENT TO BEING SPRAYED LIKE A BUG, A COCKROACH, A RODENT!!!!  I am tired of the LIES!

    • Earth Angel says:

Gosh Gail, With that kind of a rapid & massive kill scale on the trees(and God only knows what other unfortunate life forms) it would not surprise me that they weren't spraying glyphosate all over everything with the rest of the toxic crap they spew. So depraved are these f#*k*rs doing this. So sorry this is so very bad in your area. And you too Blue Sue in Alaska. God help us all. People had better be waking up and taking some decisive actions fast now. Thank you to all who are trying!

    • Gail ~ Yellowhead County Alberta ~ says:

I drove out to this area this morning to get a gauge on what the distance was that was affected. Leafless Trees. It was 4 km by 4km. Something I didn't notice while looking at the Trees, is that the fields that were in this area had all turned a very pale yellow. No longer green.   The fields that are outside the area are all green & look to be doing well. They look bleached. Field after field were yellow. I logged the roads involved & went back home to call the County office. They had an unprecedented amount of hail hit the area a few days ago, she stated. What turned the fields yellow?  She had no idea. So hail, now bleaches grass? I thought it just squashed it.  To take off every leaf on all trees for this distance is mind numbing yet alone what this did to these soils so obviously affected also. The area is full of puddles & the ditches & fields have large areas that have standing water.   The wreckage they leave behind with each weather assault.  What did the hail do to Song Birds, Bees & Insects. Did it knock out, or kill a few Calves or Fawns? Weather Creating Monsters, they are.

This is the new Summer days in Alberta.

From June the 22nd until Today, the 6th of August, we have had a whole 12 hrs of Sunshine.

      June 22nd – 4 hours Sun.

      June 23rd – 30th – Cloudy all week.

      July 1st – 6th – Cloudy all week.

      7th – 13th –   3 hours Sun all week.

      14th – 20th – 2 hours Sun all week.

      21st – 27th – 3 hours Sun all week.

      28th – 31st – Cloudy all week.

      1st – 6th – Cloudy

How is that for the dog days of Summer? 12 stinking hours in "50 Days".  That's a days worth!!! Daily Black Clouds here. Every season there is black clouds. Month after month, season after season.  I have never in my life heard thunder like this. It is a "BOOM", an Explosion of sound after a bright flash not a lightening bolt as there was in the past. The Rain comes down in sheets. We use to use the term sheet rain to describe it. But, this is tenfold. I was trapped in one of my green houses last night with my two large dogs that were very upset. Bam, it was on us. The Rain came so fast that it started flowing in the door in minutes after starting.  Flash Floods are no surprise to me. The power behind these manufactured storms are immense.   A small child would be terrified!   Our temperature has increased by 4 degrees since 8am today. 4 whole degrees by 3 pm.    This is an assault on our Mind, our Bodies, & Nature !  I want to see the Sun!   What twisted thinking, thinks, that clouds every single day of the year is normal?  It's Impossible!

    • CCGreen says:

Are you anywhere near soybean fields? Have you heard of the dicamba? I drove through tons of dead fields in Arkansas last August. Dicamba can evaporate and kill after it is sprayed. Scary stuff in agricultural lands.

    • BlueSue says:

Gail, I am so sorry for you and everyone else, including all the suffering wildlife in Alberta. What you've described is truly awful.  We humans tend to get depressed without sunshine — at least I do for sure!  Last year, we had a similar sunless and gray overcast summer in Alaska, but only one time I can remember getting the sheet rain you mention, mostly we had a frequent miserable drizzle that never did saturate the ground for any benefit. Tons of mushrooms sprouted everywhere and the fungus on bark was prolific.  This year, is a stark contrast, as we've had considerable sunshine and many extremely warm days, HOT for most of us Alaskans. Lately, it's still 80 F at 9 pm!  My house is 80 inside too! I know we are breaking temperature records like crazy, especially last month, and so far — same for August.  I continue to pray for planetary healing.  I'm praying for the sunshine to come your way too Gail. As I recall, Alberta was know for beautiful blue skies and abundant sunshine back in the 70s and even the 80s. I always wanted to return to Jasper and Banff one day as they were two of the most beautiful places I'd ever seen. Now I know it would break my heart to see them such as they've become.  It's beyond criminal what's happening today in our skies.

To ALL, There's probably not going to be a "Redding awareness event" this year. And that's more than OK in my book. Read further to find out why. If I may, I'd like to share some of what I wrote to myself 2 years ago.Wow, I can't believe it's been just over 2 years since I went on an adventure via "the bus". A little over 1400 miles round trip. Tom Keith performed the same 'method' last year on Amtrak. I will never forget the "effort and method" it took to complete my journey. Many of you have seen my picture. Now imagine that face plunked down in the heart of Seattle or Portland. Go ahead, have a good laugh, "I did". It was good to rub elbows with folks from "other worlds". I'm sorry the last half of this contribution makes you scroll horizontally. I'm not computer savvy enough to fix it.

    Thursday, July 27 2017 It's a good day to travel….

Made the bus south in Omak, 6:00 AM The bus traveled the old hwy down the west side of the Okanogan river. I've never done that. It was a good ride. Met a woman from Maui HI. Minimalist, traveler and aware of the devastation happening on her island from “climate change”. She was in my/our region to visit her aunt, 90 years old. Transferred buses in Ellensburg at a truck stop. Got to ride in one of the new age buses with power and wifi. Even got to have a double seat to myself. I have never traveled over Snoquallamy pass so fast in my whole life(lol). The bus stopped in down town Seattle across the streets from Safeco field and Quest stadium. Homes of the Seattle Mariners and Seahawks. What a grand monstrosity for just a game. Such a huge contrast to my home environment…. After an hour lay over I finally boarded the bus to Redding. Had an hour lay over in Portland. I am amazed as to how many side stops a bus makes on its journey down the road. I arrived in Redding at 5:20am the 28th. It was the beginning of sunrise. I watched the city of Redding “wake up”. It's a two mile walk to the Red Lion from the bus station. My neighbor at home said I needed to stop and have breakfast at “Jeff's Cattle Company” and that is where I am right now at 8:00am. Breakfast was great and the place is a buzz with friendly folks. Pretty soon here, I will continue walking over to the Red Lion and see if they will let me in my room earlier than normal check in. I sure hope they will. The simple horseman needs to get washed up and a change of cloths put on.

True to my form, I made it to the Redding bus station just in the nick of time before bus departure. I'm on the bus now writing this segment. Dane's not kidding about how many trees in his region are dead or dying. The bus rolls through his neck of the woods on it's way northward on I-5. Went to bed late last night and was up early this morning. By the way, the Red Lion puts up a good all you can eat b-fast. I met Marti Van DeVosse for b-fast this morning. We were joined by Jane Tande.

Last nights presentations were of a heightened perspective in comparison to previous venues. “You' 'should' have been there”. Kevin Ship was extremely on his game last night. The man is amazing. Dane's presentation was absolutely alarming and very disturbing. There's no more time for foo-foo and sugar. Doc Tenpenny's presentation was as always. She has a way of being very human as she teaches us what we need to know about vaccine issues. My greatest thanks and gratitude to Doc Tenpenny, Dane and Kevin.

What took place last night at the Geoengineeringwatch.org awareness event is virtually impossible to put into words. Though compelling comes to mind. For those that were there, it was positive energy feeding on positive energy. My journey of spreading and teaching awareness received multitudes of compounding factors. The Universe, the creator was very busy last evening. I heard it many times from folks I spoke with. Our Mother and our Maker are always speaking to us. We just need to listen and follow the guidance. There were soooo many “meant to be” occasions that unfolded for many that attended. I had the grace of meeting many folks that I can now say are “friends that I have now met”. The opportunity to form a mass of organized people extending outward is unfolding faster than many here understand. I heard folks say last night that Dane should “do this more often”. My reply each time was, “no, it's up to 'us' to do this more often”. I doubt that anyone would argue that Dane is doing all he can already. It is up to us, “all of us”, to emulate the master and 'not' go off on our own sheltered agenda's or remain in our little cocoons. We all must seek out forums in our own communities where we can present awareness like Dane, Kevin and Doc Tenpenny. Would you rather die at the hand of corruption or get up in front of a crowd 'you' organized? Take those first few steps, I promise, you 'will' be rewarded. I'd bet that years ago Dane's presentations were not as polished as they are now days. I know my own have become more effective the more I get out there and practice. Don't wait, just don't, don't wait for someone else to do what needs to be done. You are the one you have been waiting for!! Time is running out faster than we can imagine. What happens when the clock stops ticking is up to us all. We 'can' over come the corruption that has been inflicted upon us.

    Love and strength to ALL

Smedley Butler on Interventionism — Excerpt from a speech delivered in 1933, by Major General Smedley Butler, USMC. War is just a racket. A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of people. Only a small inside group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few at the expense of the masses. I believe in adequate defense at the coastline and nothing else. If a nation comes over here to fight, then we’ll fight. The trouble with America is that when the dollar only earns 6 percent over here, then it gets restless and goes overseas to get 100 percent. Then the flag follows the dollar and the soldiers follow the flag. I wouldn’t go to war again as I have done to protect some lousy investment of the bankers. There are only two things we should fight for. One is the defense of our homes and the other is the Bill of Rights. War for any other reason is simply a racket. There isn’t a trick in the racketeering bag that the military gang is blind to. It has its “finger men” to point out enemies, its “muscle men” to destroy enemies, its “brain men” to plan war preparations, and a “Big Boss” Super-Nationalistic-Capitalism. It may seem odd for me, a military man to adopt such a comparison. Truthfulness compels me to. I spent thirty- three years and four months in active military service as a member of this country’s most agile military force, the Marine Corps. I served in all commissioned ranks from Second Lieutenant to Major-General. And during that period, I spent most of my time being a high class muscle- man for Big Business, for Wall Street and for the Bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism. I suspected I was just part of a racket at the time. Now I am sure of it. Like all the members of the military profession, I never had a thought of my own until I left the service. My mental faculties remained in suspended animation while I obeyed the orders of higher-ups. This is typical with everyone in the military service. I helped make Mexico, especially Tampico, safe for American oil interests in 1914. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefits of Wall Street. The record of racketeering is long. I helped purify Nicaragua for the international banking house of Brown Brothers in 1909-1912 (where have I heard that name before?). I brought light to the Dominican Republic for American sugar interests in 1916. In China I helped to see to it that Standard Oil went its way unmolested.During those years, I had, as the boys in the back room would say, a swell racket. Looking back on it, I feel that I could have given Al Capone a few hints. The best he could do was to operate his racket in three districts. I operated on three continents. https://www.paulcraigroberts.org

  19. My research into the geoengineering revealed that one company Goldman Sachs owns stock in the manufacturers of chemicals which were being manufactured in East Germany by HAARP.  The previous governor of California sister worked for Goldman Sachs.  Additionally the stock portfolios of long time members of Congress show many own stock in the same company.  It is already illegal for Congress or any other member of the government to invest in the stock market.  The insurance industries are also forbidden by law to invest in stock because they have access to inside information such as acquisitions, mergers, bankruptcies etc. giving them an unfair investment advantage, just like Congress.

I wonder if the chemical company could be traced back to IG Farben? Anybody know the answer to this? Just a thought…

I have for the past four or five years now been finding very sticky clumps of white fuzzy material that looks like clumps of spider webs floating down from the sky. I see it in the trees and on the grass. I collected a small amount and sent it to an independent non-government lab in New England where it was tested and came back as nylon. Unfortunately, my sample size wasn't large enough for them to say anything beyond that.

I had my soil tested about 4 years ago, I Waters agricultural labs. The amount of aluminum in my sample came back at a level equivalent to 1198 lb of aluminum per acre of soil.

I'm seeing more and more trees around Greenville the either have ceased to thrive and grow at a normal rate, or the tops of the trees in many cases are starting to look like they've been scorched with no leaves at all in the upper branches, just dead looking branches at the top and some green leaves down below. This is in Greenville North Carolina.

Two more headlines on the front page of the 8/2/19 Anchorage Daily News report more dire environmental news: Thousands of walruses show up early on Northwest coast as sea ice recedes.  "Since 1981, and area more than double the size of Texas — 610,000 square miles — has become unavailable to Arctic marine mammals by summer's end, according to the National Snow and Ice Data Center."  Also, Greenland sees massive ice melt due to heat wave. " More than 10 billion tons (11 billion US tons) of ice was lost to the oceans by surface melt on Wednesday alone, creating a net mass ice loss of some 197 billion tons (217 U.S. tons) from Greenland in July". ( a mere 1 billion tons — or 1 gigaton — of ice loss is equivalent to about 400,000 Olympic-sized swimming pools.  https://www.adn.com/alaska-news/wildlife/2019/08/01/thousands-of-walruses-show-up-early-on-northwest-alaska-coast-as-sea-ice-recedes/

As you say Dane, the sun does feel abnormally intense on our skin nowadays, especially this summer where we are still experiencing extremely warm temperatures here in Alaska.  Evening temperatures at 9 pm are still very warm and muggy, at about 75F the past two days. Normally, it would cool by about 10 degrees by this time of evening.  In addition to our prematurely dying birch trees and devastated spruce trees, I have noticed some very strange and nasty looking icky sticky white speckled/flaky coating on some of the bushes and foliage in my yard. It's as if they've been sprayed from above and are heavily coated. On the other side of my house, I see another anomalous parasite causing awful damage to willow leaves.  The leaves are all brown speckled and thoroughly covered with little bugs that look similar to lady bugs but they are brown with gold spots.  Also there are some bizarre growths covering the bottoms of the willow leaves — it looks like they have green (chocolate chip-shaped) growths attached to the underside of each leaf. Some of these tumor-looking growths have grown to the size of hazelnuts.  It is so awful to see the decimation of so much of the flora and fauna of our precious planet.  Sometimes, I think (paranoid?) maybe, I am being targeted by the small private planes that frequently fly low directly over my house.  The aerosols spraying by military jets is also very regular in the sky just above my house.  I hate those damn jets that lay four parallel lines at a time and then cross back over with tic-tac- toe grids and x-patterns.  I wonder if Alaska will be just as hot, or even more hot next summer. God help us.

New York Fire Commissioners Call for New 9/11 Investigation About “Pre-Planted Explosives”

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Franklin Square and Munson Fire District fully supports a comprehensive federal grand jury investigation and prosecution of every crime related to the attacks of September 11, 2001, as well as any and all efforts by other government entities to investigate and uncover the full truth surrounding the events of that horrible day.

Great reporting – Dane– I don't live that far from that location and I personally remember the fire trucks all going to Nyc on that dreadful day.  I also personally knew  alot of people were going to get very sick from the fires   . In fact there was a Doctor on alternative media  who.   said that 5 years after 9-11 that lots of people will get sick. The rest is history.— Of course the Epa knew air quality was bad and lied since I personally could smell chemicals in the air from over 20 miles away.   They opened up wall street I think a week after 9-11.

    America’s Collapse: #2 in a series

    An Economy Based on Plunder

    Paul Craig Roberts

Essentially, capitalism is a plunder mechanism that generates short-run profits by externalizing long-run costs.  It exhausts natural resources, including air, land, and water, for temporary profits while imposing most of its costs, such as pollution, on the environment.  An example is the destruction of the Amazon rain forest by loggers.  The world loses a massive carbon sink that stabilizes the global climate, and loggers gain short-run profits that are a tiny percentage of the long-run costs

The US has a long history of overthrowing reformist governments in Latin America that threatened American control over their resources.

I move to Colorado high desert last November and have been concerned about the quantity of chem trails in these skies daily. So I called and left a message for the Environmental Protection Agency for the land and skies. They sent me a message telling me they were just jet streams and to call the FAA if I had a problem with them. So I sent the FAA a connection to your website and asked if they might be better informed about chem trails all over our skies. Never heard back from them. I have been attempting to educate everyone on my Facebook page and elsewhere. The east coast was a lot more informed and we saw a lot less of them there. No one seems to know about them here in Colorado. I'm so disappointed. Funny thing, after I talked to those two organizations, I've seen a LOT less chem trails anywhere here, early in the morning sometimes. Just wanted to share. I'm quite disturbed that so few people are concerned. It changes the weather drastically here, we had hail two days ago!! In August! Weird.

Believe it or not…the FAA is IN CHARGE of what is sprayed in our skies.  There is NO research funding for safety of these. It is practically a shell and a farse to make it look pretty for the taxpayers and that it looks like somebody is watching over it. They are doing nothing but shoving contracts through to hire Evergreen and Army, Navy and commercial jets to spray this crap.

A Glimpse into the Eviction Crisis: Why Housing Stability Deserves Greater Attention – Aspen EPIC Dev Site

An estimated four evictions were filed per minute in the United States in 2016. That is approximately 2.3 million renter households who were at dire risk of losing their homes. Even with numbers this staggering, the extent and impact of housing instability are not widely understood. Matthew Desmond, professor of sociology and author of the best-selling book Evicted, shines a light on the eviction experience through an interactive museum exhibit. Recently housed at the National Building Museum in Washington DC, the Evicted exhibit will be traveling to 10 cities around the US to help the nation better understand the prevalence, causes, and consequences of the eviction crisis.
    WHAT IS EVICTION?
Eviction occurs when a landlord expels a tenant from a property, resulting in an involuntary move for renter households. The eviction process is typically initiated when a tenant cannot or does not pay rent. However, tenants have also been evicted for other reasons, such as taking on boarders, property damage, or violating a lease agreement. About 900,000 households, or 1 in every 17 renters, have been evicted each year since 2000. This estimate only captures formal legal filings and leaves out more common informal evictions, where a landlord forces someone out by shutting off the power or throwing out belongings. Even worse, the people facing the highest risk of eviction are low-income women of color, followed closely by families with children and domestic violence victims.
Despite almost one million evictions per year, there has been minimal research on the effects on households and communities. Losing a home through eviction is often a sudden and traumatic loss. For families, it can have deep impacts on mental and financial well-being. Desmond finds that families who are evicted regularly lose their possessions, lose their jobs, and experience higher rates of depression. For children, the instability caused by eviction can result in worse outcomes in education, health, and future earnings. The Evicted exhibit explores these impacts with unique design elements and thought-provoking stories from families who have had the misfortune of experiencing eviction.
    POVERTY IS A FACTOR
Eviction is highly correlated with poverty. Out of the 10.3 million renter households with an income below the poverty line, 71% are severely cost-burdened, spending more than half their income on housing. This cost burden can be detrimental for low-income families who may not have enough leftover income to cover other basic needs, such as food, healthcare, transportation, and childcare. In the Evicted exhibit stagnant incomes, higher rents, and a lack of public assistance are cited as the main causes of the eviction crisis. The rising gap between household incomes and housing costs has created affordability problems for many families. Between 2000 and 2016, median gross rents have increased by 8.6% while median renter incomes have decreased by 6.2%.

FYI:  Throwing belongings out of tenants' houses is against the law in the state of California.  A lack of ability to pay increasing costs of living, plus the fact that so many of the Big Tech companies like Yahoo, Google, Apple and Facebook all here in the S.F. Bay Area did not want to start campuses outside of the area and wanted in fact to add thousands of jobs without doing anything to provide housing or transportation or any other kind of infrastructure needed with increased housing demand.  Including schools and fire stations– SHAME on the stoopid kiddies running these companies– just where the Hell do they think their workforce goes at the end of the day, back inside some "magic" bottle–??  LET'S GET THE KIDS OUT OF THE CONTROL ROOM!!!

Mothers Nature and Human: Another Blueprint for Survival
    Counter Punch

To avoid the nasty, brutish and short life in the factories of the Industrial Revolution, some people escaped to the colonies where many of its raw materials originated. They oversaw resource theft which imposed a similar pattern to Europe’s: The indigenous people were forced from their land into laboring for their new colonial masters as servants or for a pittance. Those who resisted faced death in colonial wars and massacres.
It brought immense wealth to very few. They justified their great fortune with a heartless ideology, bolstered by “scientific” racism, in which they believed they had attained a higher level of evolution and intelligence than those they ruled. Some also grasped to a theology which conveniently taught that they were closer to God than their slaves and workers. They had both a scientific and religious right to wealth and power.
Everything was given a price tag. It still is. Governments, their corporate backers and the media – all controlled by people from similar backgrounds – wage war against self-sufficiency. Their view of development is the prevailing global ideology.
A family that’s reduced to laboring for starvation wages is supposedly richer than when it was living sustainably and comfortably from its own food, but without the pay. Taxable income is everything, the money is sucked upwards while those at the top find ways to pay little or nothing.

    • Very observant.  Class separation is getting wider every year with the rich getting richer, the middle class getting poorer and the poor now living on the streets.  Many of the culprits reside right inside our own government talking income equality, but not including themselves.  For instance Speaker of the House is now worth $389,000,000.  Even at the State level where our leaders are extremely rich while they talk about helping the poor, they continue the same failed policies that made the income gap.

UMaXX Radar on Orchard Hill Providing Weather Data to the National Weather Service Eastern Regional Headquarters
August 2, 2019 / [Raytheon Radar Tower photo]
An advanced weather radar array on Orchard Hill is now providing a data feed to the National Weather Service’s (NWS) Eastern Regional Headquarters. Data from the radar will be used by NWS regional forecast offices – principally in the Boston, Albany and Portland areas.
The UMass eXperimental X-band radar (UMaXX), is a collaborative effort between the Microwave Remote Sensing Laboratory (MIRSL) and the Engineering Research Center for Collaborative Adaptive Sensing of the Atmosphere (CASA), both part of the College of Engineering.
“In the Pioneer Valley, the beams from the current NWS NEXRAD radars in Boston and Albany are scanning about a mile above the ground,” says Stephen Frasier, a professor of electrical and computer engineering and co-director of MIRSL. “Scans that high can miss important weather features. In contrast, the beams from UMaXX scan much lower to the ground and provide more detailed data.”
While the NWS is getting its own special feed for CASA data, it is also available on the web at emmy7.casa.umass.edu/umaxx/.
Already some local television meteorologists are using the data. Jacob Wycoff from Western Mass News says it has been very helpful. “As a broadcast meteorologist, we need to make decisions in real-time to alert our viewers,” Wycoff says. “The UMaXX radar has been crucial in filling-in the radar gap, allowing us to be more accurate and confident during severe weather.”
MIRSL students and engineers recently installed two radar systems, UMaXX and Skyler, atop the Orchard Hill tower on the UMass Amherst campus. UMaXX uses current technology. A pedestal spins an antenna that moves up and down and sends out two electronic beams. Skyler, a phased-array radar on loan to UMass from Raytheon, represents next generation technology. Skyler has no moving parts. Instead, a flat panel – about the size of a big screen TV– emits 2,560 electronic beams that can be configured and steered electronically.
