SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS)— Writers around the globe are so concerned with government surveillance they say they are now avoiding, or have considered avoiding, writing about controversial topics.
According to a survey done by the PEN American Center at least 75 percent of those surveyed consider the freedom of expression under attack. And it’s not just certain countries. According to the center’s Executive Director, Suzanne Nossel, writers everywhere have expressed their fears.
“In parts of the world where we thought of writers as perfectly secure—some of the freest counties. Places like Canada, The United Kingdom, and Australia. Writers feel like somebody’s looking over their shoulder,” she said.
Nossel said while some of it may be unnecessary paranoia, there are programs that are shrouded in such secrecy that it’s hard to say who’s being monitored and for what.
The recent Sony hack has kicked things up a notch, according to Nossel.
“Everything we’re doing online and the idea that if somebody were going to intrude or snoop the scope of what they could uncover and the damage they could do is pretty boundless,” she said.
The PEN American Center is advocating for comprehensive reform of the NSA surveillance program and an oversight mechanism so when the government does want to collect information they would have to go through court proceedings.
The journalist need a third party involve again this and the need to pay the jounalist very well to sacrifice is career by denouncing what happening

Though this was written in the 1960’s, it’s as relevant today as it was then. I find I can barely contain my emotion sometimes when I sing it, for it’s message breaks my heart even more today than it did 40 years ago.

Even though the media does not report on any geoengineering activity, the US congress had a hearing, discussing geoengineering in nov 2009 and feb/mar 2010. If the US Congress discusses geoengineering as a extreme measure to combat climate change(referred to as global warming in the report, I believe) then the media is indeed covering up something as to not even report Congressional hearings. Hello All; Here in Southwest, New Mexico. The lowlifes have been super spraying their crud (SAG) along the Mexico border over Juarez, Mexico into El Paso, Texas east to west today marking 3rd day straight-1/7/15. From South of this area they are building their cover sprayings to North which would be towards Las Cruces, New Mexico. What has the light that is in us to do with the darkness that surrounds us? Hello Steven, yes, all the “journalists” are too spineless to admit to the climate engineering elephant in the room, they are aware that to do so would be a bad career decision. This being said, the conclusions of the article you posted fall far short of just how dire the climate situation really is. Global geoengineering is making the scenario worse with each passing day.
Today my comment will be more informative and less abrasive. I’ll even give a weather update for Nikiski, Alaska. But first I want Howard to know that if he worked for me he would be encouraged to spread the word as much as possible everyday. All of my employees are involved in waking our community to this black-op war against humanity while on the clock. From gluing flyers to pizza boxes to directing people with questions to credible information. Everyone who eats at Charlie’s Pizza gets an introduction to Climate Engineering whether they like it or not.
As for the ones that won’t investigate or accept the reality of the situation, I say this. The fear and anxiety you live with is much worse when in denial then it is when you accept it and commit to exposing it. Educating yourself and informing others turns fear into optimism and hope. Every time I see someone reading a flyer or checking out a DVD of Danes presentation my fear retracts and my optimism grows.
We finally hit the 0 degree mark for the first time in over a year. The bad thing is that we don’t have any snow. We should have several feet by now. I am fearful that the roots of our already stressed forest vegetation will be even more damaged without the normal insulating snow cover.
The “scheduled’ weather for Alaska is for warm, moist, heavily aerosolized systems pushing north out of the Pacific. THEY say we’ll be back in the upper 30’s by Thursday. Which usually means we’ll reach the mid 40’s or higher. This last cold spell didn’t last long, about three days. Just long enough to build some cold air to send to the lower 48 via Jetstream manipulation.

Yes, Dane. Here in Florida we’ve had weeks of hot and humid temps. Nights are thick with moist particulate that looks like snow in the streetlights. All the air conditioners are kicking on, right through the night. The insects are completely confused…mosquitoes have hatched, which is unusual for January. The weatherbots speak only of fronts…retreating fronts, stalled fronts, fizzled out fronts, advancing fronts, dry fronts. We are the Sunshine state, yet every day here in Florida is now a depiction of just how much the sun is blocked…a blurred, muddy white blob around the sun constantly. The tourists don’t care…heck, it’s paradise to have escaped the engineered frigid polar vortex. And the weaterbots really play this card to the max. There is not a single day without spraying. Multiple planes claim the sky at any given time of day or night. Last year, there were a few days of relief, but no more. It’s a constant presence…the sight of the planes, the sour smell of the air, the suffocating white film, the lack of shadows. And the weatherbots force feeding the flavor: another wonderful week ahead of gorgeous Florida sunshine.

When they go underground we might actually have a chance of getting things right. When they go underground we must NEVER let them back into the light of day. With the size and scope of these programs, wouldn’t the supply chain be enormous? Couldn’t there be a way for some of us to narrow our field of vision and concentrate on at least one part of that supply chain to expose or even eliminate it?
Doing this might make those running these operations have more difficulty operating in secret, and bring pressure to bear further down the line.
I can see they are just buying time, they dont expect the Earth to last much longer. They need us to provision their bunkers and build their subterranean habitats. No amount of political pressure will stop the spraying. No amount of calling, no amount of waving signs and pleaing to our congressmen, they are all bought. They (the power structure from top to bottom) have invested themselves in a life or death struggle. We had 4 inches of powder dry snow last night. The temperature was almost zero today, tonight it will be below zero, again. With wind chills 25-30 below. Tomorrow it won’t even get above zero. I had to go out today, I had no choice. There were jets flying everywhere today, about a dozen of them spraying their crap. They had X’s and long lines all over and much of the spray was black. What is the black? I was very upset, why the need to cool us off even more? What is this costing to spray us when we have these kind of temps? It makes no sense, is this really necessary when we have such cold? I couldn’t help it, coming home I had to cry. When I left home they were working on the southern sky. Coming home 3/4 of the sky was overcast yet they were still spraying more on top of it, and working farther north. A half hour after I got home I looked out and the entire sky was totally covered with aerosol. It took about 3 hrs to wipe out that blue sky that we rarely even get to see. You would think when we have below zero temps they would take a day off from the spraying! I hate this! I do all I can to spread the word but I just can’t do it on days like today. Stay warm everyone, if you are in this deep freeze. One more thing, if we had a dozen jets spraying here today, how many jets do you think were spraying all over the US? I can’t imagine the cost, and for what, destroying this beautiful planet. Making everything worse. I’m so sad……
Hello SkywatcherGrandma, the goal is create a few records and then some headlines. The cold layer is very shallow as the atmosphere is stratifying from the aerosol layer interfering with convection. Mainstream media is not talking about the fact that 2014 is now officially the warmest year on record. They are not speaking about the 2400 high temperature records set last month in the lower 48 alone. They are not mentioning the record high night time low temperatures in Florida a few days ago of almost 75 degrees, or Minneapolis 10 days ago of 52 degrees ABOVE (the night time low temp), over 40 degrees above normal, they only rant and rave about the engineered cool down. As I write this at 7pm in the mountains of Northern California its still 65 degrees out, T-shirt weather. The climate engineers do not care about the decimation and contamination they are causing, they are only trying to create division and confusion to buy them time while the dig in to there underground bases preparing for total collapse of civilization and the biosphere.
The media are so afraid of exposing this is because people might think they are crazy and or they’re just afraid of being imprisoned in mental institutes. What’s crazy is those “terrorists” are spraying the skies and getting away with it EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Look at what they’re doing to California. Leaving us hanging to dry for who knows how long. Who are journalists anyway? I say send the experts that have been studying this insanity out to the public via internet videos and such. We already know that most of the mainstream media is bought out.
I believe Dane is doing a great job at getting the information out. People need to wake up and smell the foul in the air and do something about it.
We need to contact our local government, in big numbers, and put pressure on them. We need to contact the local news in every area of the US and fill their message machines so they can’t help but report what the people are yelling about. Geoengineering is defined as, “the deliberate large-scale manipulation of an environmental process that affects the earth’s climate, in an attempt to counteract the effects of global warming”. However there are so many sidebars to the term it is almost impossible to define. There are many supports and distractions that parallel geoengineering. Wars are a big profit maker for the elite, these people not only become rich through wars but also use them to support their real agenda which is world domination. A population with altered I.Q. levels from forced intake of fluoride, sick and medicated from GMO foods, more and more dependent on government handouts, robbed of quality health care, zombified through the electronic media, tracked mercilessly by the NSA, and mind controlled for sixteen years through the public schools and higher education. The very act of survival and feeding the kids is all one can handle, as the tons of heavy metal inhaled over one’s lifetime becomes simply one more thing to contend with. Geoengineering and social engineering have become one and the same.
Death is a profitable business for those who engage in it and death on a large scale can yield profits in the mega trillions of dollars to those who control wars, food, big Pharma, and populations. The potential prize at the end is too enormous for the elite to throw in the towel. Inflated egos mixed with ruthless characters make for a tough beast to reign in.
We must find life apart from those trying to destroy us, that is our only hope. If we continue to act and react as if our life depends on them growing a heart, we are dead. Let us stop judging one another. Love is a far more powerful weapon than hate. Love dilutes and dispels the effects of hate as light dispels darkness. All of the hate in the world cannot withstand one unit that comes together in unpretentious love. What if our love for one another became the weapon against the globalists? Their success depends on our fear and capitulation. If you love me more than yourself and I love you more than I love myself, nothing can stop us. We must begin to reform society around this love, this new kind of love that wants to see my neighbor succeed even to my detriment. Let love be the spotlight that focuses attention on life which itself will expose and thereby kill what will be revealed as a self centered death cult.
What if all over the world groups of ten, and fifty, and 500, and one thousand, began coming together with ideas? People with organic farming skills, construction workers, medical doctors, those skilled in mass communication, all talents ready to use them for the common good; all coming together with love being the common bond. Keeping us separated is their key advantage. What if a desire to see a new world birthed, one free from fear and tyranny began to overwhelm the world? What would happen? Because this is exactly what is going to have to take place if anyone is to survive. Love is unconquerable!
Hello Gene, you are correct on the complexity of what is occurring over our heads every day, the spraying issue carries many agendas forward. Optimism is good to a point, but challenges must still be faced. If one is standing in the middle of the freeway, turning your back to traffic and staying optimistic won’t save you. If one faces traffic, there is a much better chanced of survival.
